ITS NOT YET OVER
The in ability of my parents to meet some of
the needs of the family did not prohibit me from pursuing my dream with its objectives.
Born in a simple family of seven children, I grew up as a subsistence farmer
from Kapchorwa District, near the Uganda-Kenya border. Un like other children,
I missed three years of elementary school due to an undiagnosed illness. My
peers looked down on me as a blasphemer. Looking down to shade off the tears of
blasphemer in our family, I started training as an athlete. Despite of all our
economic insights in the region and the country at large were the rich keep
getting richer and the poor, poorer. I counted on myself among the multimillion
dollar fortunes in the world and that kept me working extremely hard until I
started breathing from the eye instead of the noise. At the age of 17, I quitted
school and moved to the Eldoret
region of Kenya to train for the marathon
where i was assisted by a non-profit foundation based in New York.
Today am crowned as the world Olympic
Marathon champion gold medalist in 2012 London and the current IAAF Moscow 2013
Marathon. Actually my life style is quite long that requires a full book that
will soon be released. All the success I attribute to my blasphemer.
To all my friends, take challenges as
opportunities to your route to success.
