THE YEARS OF AGONY DIDNOT HINDER MY PURSUIT FOR EDUCATION

The regardless of the reality of being the un wanted child at home,my mother hated to raise me and one day she wanted to trade me for a pig.
Looking down to shed off the emotions of my childhood, i grew up with my grandmother who later sent me to my uncle. My uncle however could not see me through school.
While in primary two, i left home to look for a job and the only job i got was cleaning the toilets in a lodge of which i was paid only $4 a month.
I was so despised and scorned. No one ever thought that i would be anything in life
At the age of 14, i rented a one-roomed house where i lived with my 3 year old child. This meant that i had to work hard to see myself through school, look after my child and pay my rent. Despite all that,i never felt alone.
The unfortunate events were not a stumbling block to what i was to achieve a head of me .
Am now a graduate with 4.62 CGPA in Information security.Currently am working as a Director of Information Systems Security at a certain airport in Dubai.
Perhaps what i have to say in conclusion,"I was made to go through the years of agony so i could be better and that is what God has done for me.

JUGGLING LIFE IS AMYTH

For many children of my generation,Juggling life is a myth. But i toiled with life until the tears came out of the noise instead of the eye.
Born in a family of 5 in Mukono,Uganda to the late Katende Ndugwa,I only attained a primary level. After the dreams of my education being shattered,i got married to a handsome man by then. All i knew was that i had given up on education and look at my family.
With the 2 children, the husband became a devil himself. And you guys out there  if you want to know how a devil looks like, don't go to hell because the guy is around in my village.
I started making bricks for the survival of my children and my self as well. So many people looked down on me as a failure in life.
But despite of all those challenges, i never gave up on my ambitions.
Now my two children have completed their Degree, one in Computer Science and the other in Cybernetics at the University of Reading in Britain.
To my torments, there are different opportunities across different challenges in life.My advice is never focus your minds in things of the past instead just meditate at what is a head of you.

I WORKED AS A TAX CONDUCTOR TO PAY FEES

While many of my classmates waited for their parents to give them tuition every semester ,I toiled to attain an education.
When i was about to join secondary school in 2003,my father passed away. I knew that my mother was incapable of seeing me through school and the only way to acquire an education was through hard lab our.
I started sweeping classrooms at school, cleaning and painting so that i could be allowed to stay in school.
My peers looked down on me as a failure in life but i never stopped work, and therefore my perseverance got me through secondary school until my graduation .
Now am working as the head editor in the East African Standard Newspaper In Nairobi .
My advice to the world is "any one can work hard at some thing for a good cause and achieve it".
