FACING A TASK UNFINISHED

I had everything to make me happy. Enjoying perfect physical and mental health, living in a beautiful home in a flawless world. God gave me 3 children and the ability to do creative thinking. No trace of worry, fear or sickness marred my blissful days and therefore I found satisfaction in the work of my hands.

But the world changed so drastically into a place of suffering and tragedy. I waked up in the morning to newspapers headlines screaming about my daughter being kidnapped, yet another son died into an accident, yet another daughter became insane, yet heavy floods and earthquakes struck all my beautiful gardens and houses.

While still the moments of sadness and misery, my lovely wife committed past away. In amidst of all the tragedies, I became crapped as a health status.Making matters worse, all my labor was in vein and what started as happiness turned out as endless misery.

There moments when life becomes so precious to the extent of equaling yourself to God, having everything one could desire in this world. At a certain point in time, the world seems a place of horror when nothing makes sense, nothing seems fair and you become a minor cog in some vast cosmic machine.

In the i nutshell, I have lived in a state of enjoying wealth and facing poverty, seen happiness and facing sadness. But all things were meaningless! Instead I have learn’t how to trust in God .Therefore I urge each one of you to allow God take possession of your life.

ITS NOT YET OVER

The in ability of my parents to meet some of the needs of the family did not prohibit me from pursuing my dream with its objectives. Born in a simple family of seven children, I grew up as a subsistence farmer from Kapchorwa District, near the Uganda-Kenya border. Un like other children, I missed three years of elementary school due to an undiagnosed illness. My peers looked down on me as a blasphemer. Looking down to shade off the tears of blasphemer in our family, I started training as an athlete. Despite of all our economic insights in the region and the country at large were the rich keep getting richer and the poor, poorer. I counted on myself among the multimillion dollar fortunes in the world and that kept me working extremely hard until I started breathing from the eye instead of the noise. At the age of 17, I quitted school and moved to the Eldoret region of Kenya to train for the marathon where i was assisted by a non-profit foundation based in New York.
Today am crowned as the world Olympic Marathon champion gold medalist in 2012 London and the current IAAF Moscow 2013 Marathon. Actually my life style is quite long that requires a full book that will soon be released. All the success I attribute to my blasphemer.
To all my friends, take challenges as opportunities to your route to success.

COMPASSION BEYOND LOGIC

I clearly remember the day when the news of my father’s sudden and accidental death reached me. During the early hours of the morning I was downloading software in my office where we were working as evangelists.
Thousands of kilometers separated me from my father’s apartment in a small village in South Africa where he had died as a result of a domestic accident and no one noticed.
We had been trying for weeks to contact him without success and now the impact of the tragic news sent me into a spin of tears, feelings of guilt and un answered questions.
Why couldn’t I have been at his side during his last moments?
Why did God allow him to die under such circumstances as while I was serving his church on the other side of the world?
The tears subsided since then and the feelings of guilt have been rationalized, but the un answered question still remain.  I finally arrived in the small village where my father had died; I had about only two hours that I could spend in his apartment before the funeral took place.
I went through his belongings in order to be able to find something that would remind me of him, his favorite hat which we used to tease him about endlessly is what I now have in remembrance of him.
So little hope came when I read the scripture that says when we lose our loved one and even our knowledge of that person will always remain a fragmented one. But to all my friends, there is another meeting place somewhere in heaven where we shall be safely in Jesus’ hands. Just take heart when such incidences happen.

FROM GUILTY TERRORIST TO PEACE MAKER

After living most of my life as a terrorist, here is a thrilling story. The famous mutineers who sank the southern bounty ended up settling with the native women on the lonely island in south east.
The group consisted of 75 men, 30 women and a girl of fifteen. One of the sailors who was a doctor discovered how to distill alcohol and soon drunkenness corrupted the island colony.
Fighting among men and women grew into violent exchanges.
After a while only a doctor and i survived. We fought each other  and i was only weakened by 3 gun shots on my shoulder by the doctor.
When i looked at the dead bodies of my parents, i was filled with hated and retaliation. I started training as a terrorist and time came when i found the doctor who killed my parents.
There were no policemen and soldiers guarding the office because he was a big man in the country but no one saw me enter the office. I moved with him at the entrance on a gunpoint and told all the security to put down their guns.
I t seemed a terrible situation. To their amazement, i did no harm to him. This was so after seeing the words at the entrance saying"its possible for a physically alive person to be having what some call a good life and still be dead". At the moment me and the doctor are at peace and we are spreading the gospel of forgiveness and repentance.

MY EDUCATION HAS BEEN NOTHING SHORT OF A MIRACLE

From an ordinary boy i was! This i tell with my straight face. Right from my primary level, have always been on top of my class. Because of my excellent grades in my O'level, i was awarded with a bursary.
However that was not the case for my A'level because my bursary had expired and in senior five i failed to get money to stay in school.
I left school and only returned to do my my Uganda Advanced Certificate Of  Education(U.A.C.E). Unexpectedly i got 17 points in my PEM/ART combination which were enough to get me a place in any university of my choice.
Unfortunately i was not able to join university due to lack of funds. I started selling seats on the streets of Kampala to raise some money for university. Later some one decided to pay half of my tuition. In the last semester i had to pay my tuition.
I had run out of all options yet the final papers were conducted on that very day. I turned down to different offices but it didn't work out for me.
Then i decided to ambush the vice chancellor on the way and did not expect him to listen but to my surprise he didn't look down on me.Now am one of the happiest graduates in life.
There are some incidences that taught me humility and therefore to all the young people"Believe in yourself and create effective friendships that will help you achieve your goals.

LIFE IS NOT A PLAY

I knew i was born in a rich family, but i didn't think life could drive all that far. However am not surprised because indiscipline and self esteem were always my life guiding principles.
When i finished education, i asked dad for my share so that i could go and start my own family. As you all know a well polished guy from the university i didn't pay a dem to what people say instead i did what pleased me.
I used all the money that i had in the pleasures of this world which i can't even tell by my tongue.Time came all those who seemed to be caring had gone because i had used up my share and i was left a lone.
I started looking for a job and the only one available was taking care of the pigs. A man from a very christian family who don't even mention names of pigs because they are considered unclean.
My girlfriend left me with a kid of 3 years after releasing that am HIV positive. To the teenagers, am now bold enough to admit my error and save you from the same arrogance "That be still in every thing and let God be the centre of your life".
